Q. How do you choose your wines?

We travel through every region ourselves, tasting wines, meeting winemakers and finding the wines which best showcase what the region can do. This means we can secure exclusive offers, back-vintages and hard-to-find wines which simply aren’t available in Australia.

Q. What does the Somm subscription cost?

$465 per quarter including GST, shipping and insurance.

Every 3 months we will send you a Regional Tasting Pack which showcases one internationally famous wine growing region. You’ll receive 6 premium, critically-acclaimed wines, which have been chosen for their unique flavour, indisputable enjoyment factor and how well they characterise what makes the region and it’s wines so iconic.

To further guide you on your tasting journey of the region, you’ll also receive the Somm Guide - a coffee table quality book which promises to further your knowledge, challenge your perceptions, and broaden your horizons about the wine, history, character and culture of each locale.

Q. What is the Somm Guide?

Learning is central to what we do, because we believe wine gives us a glimpse into a regions history, culture and people. To help you learn about each wine region we explore, each Regional Tasting Pack includes a beautifully presented hardcover coffee table book about the region.

With 60+ pages of detailed maps, grape variety descriptions, stories about the history and evolution of the region, as well as profiles on the featured wines and winemakers, the Somm Guide immerses you in the personality and people of the area. It also includes inspired recipes from our guest chefs which pair beautifully with the wines in the pack.

Q. How much is delivery?

Delivery and insurance are included in your Somm subscription at no additional charge.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We don’t charge any transaction fees.

Q. Can I really cancel my subscription whenever I like?

Absolutely. We’re so confident that you’ll love our Regional Tasting Packs that you won’t want to, but you’re free to pause or cancel your subscription whenever you like. There’s no lock-in contract.

If your next pack is already being processed, your cancellation will take effect after you receive that delivery.

If you’re travelling, you can pause your subscription on your My Account page, or delay your delivery by emailing us at to let us know when you’ll be back.

Q. Can I give a Somm Subscription as a gift?

Yes you can!

On the Subscribe page, check the box to indicate that the subscription is a gift. Fill in the extra details for the lucky gift recipient and subscribe. You can choose to give 1, 2, 3 or 4 packs, or let the subscription continue until you cancel it.

As the gift giver, you manage the gift subscription on your My Account page, along with your own subscription if you have one. You can have as many gift subscriptions as you like. The recipient won't have access to your account.

Q. How do I access my Account page?

When you subscribe, you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to set your password. This link will expire soon after you subscribe.

If you didn't set your password initially, or you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by clicking " Forgot Password? " on the login page and following the steps.

Q. I’m travelling - can I delay my delivery?

Of course. Send us a note via the Contact Us page or email us as at to let us know when you'll be back. Your following pack will be delivered as usual.

Q. How do I pause or cancel my subscription?

You can do this on your My Account page. Login, select your subscription, then click pause or cancel.

Q. How do I update my details?

You can update your persona, payment and delivery details on the My Account page. To do this, login to your My Account page and click Update Details.

Q. Can I buy more of a wine I like?

Absolutely. Finding great wines to add to your collection is the whole idea!

Quantities are usually limited, so don't hesitate. Email us at to let us know what you would like and we will get in touch to confirm your order.

Q. Where and how do you deliver?

All wines are insured and shipped via courier anywhere in mainland Australia and Tasmania. Unfortunately we can’t ship to customers outside Australia at the moment.

Q. Can I buy a pack without subscribing?

Absolutely. Just head over to our pages to find the pack you're after click "Buy Now". Complete your order and your pack will be on the way.

That said, there's no risk to subscribing. Subscribers get priority access to future releases, and you can pause or cancel their subscription at any time so you're not locked in to any minimum purchases or packs.
